The Filipino will meet Cotto in a 145-pound (65.8-kilogram) bout on Nov. 14 at the MGM Grand Garden, Top Rank promoter Bob Arum said Monday after finalizing the match between his company’s two most prominent boxers. “There’s no messing about with either of these guys, and that’s what’s so exciting,” Arum told The Associated Press. “That’s why it’s an unbelievable fight, with two guys who really love to fight and don’t dance around.” Pacquiao (49-3-2, 37 KOs) has won titles in six weight divisions from flyweight to light welterweight, cementing the Filipino national hero’s status as the sport’s pound-for-pound champion. Pacquiao pummeled Oscar De La Hoya into retirement last December in his first welterweight fight, and he dramatically stopped 140-pound (63.5-kilogram) champion Ricky Hatton in the second round in May for his 10th consecutive victory. Pacquiao also attended Cotto’s brutal split-decision victory over Joshua Clottey in New York last June, building anticipation for their meeting. Both fighters were eager to face each other, making the negotiations relatively simple after Pacquiao agreed to the 145-pound weight limit insisted upon by Cotto’s physical trainer. “With Manny, you don’t tell him who to fight,” Arum said. “He tells you who he wants to fight. He’s not afraid of anything. There’s a lot of easier guys he could fight, but he doesn’t want that. Wills Nagwala Matapos Hindi Pinapasok ng Guard!

Papagkamalang may AH1N1 si Wills matapos magregister ng 39.8 degrees celcius sa lobby kaninang umaga.  Hindi tuloy siya pinapasok.  Sa pagpupumilit niya na wala siyang sakit, binatuta nalang siya at nagdesisyong sa Mcdo nalang siya magtrabaho sa tabi ng kayang opisina.  Dinalhan nalang siya ng printer mula sa opisina niya.  Magkaka presscon mayamayang gabi si Wills para klaruhin ang pangyayari.

Anning and Berna Muntik na Magsuntokan!

Weh!

Is ti true?  We heard from unrealiable sources that Anning and Berna had a fight last night at a bar along Ayala Avenue.  No one knows what really happened.  Both declined to comment as of the moment but both agreed to hold a press conference to explain what really happened that night.  There are speculations that the “Wills and Anning” tandem will be “Wills and Berna”. 

“Sanay na ako sa Wills and Anning.  Nasa puso ko na silang dalawa.  Sana magkaayos na sila” said one fan waving a sharp bloodied knife during a political rally somewhere in Manila.

After only 2 weeks of running a successful bee farm, Darvy sold all his shares and turned professional pearl diver.  He’s currently stationed somewhere near the Marianas Trench south of the Pacific Sea.  “Mas pipiliin ko ang perlas kaysa honey pare” he said over the telephone last night.  He said he earns around US$300,000 per dive.  It is romured that his partner is a guitar player from Cebu.

Source of Leakage Discovered!

“Natsambahan ko lang ang pagka diskubre ko.  Mukhang dyan nga galing ang tagas.” commented Joie when she announced few minutes ago the discovery of the  real source of the leakage.  The leak was discovered just this morning when Teddy, the Elevator Man, slipped on  the  wet 10th floor  stairs.  He was cleared of any  injuries.  The leak was later cleaned and the 10th floor is as dry as it used to be.

Announcement of admissions to the 10th floor  is always a much-awaited moment in WPG. To those who aim for and make it to the 10th floor, it becomes the singlemost important event in their personal and professional life. Being in the 10th floor signifies the start of a new journey – one filled with new challenges, opportunities and possibilities.

Our new collegues are achievers in their particular areas of expertise.   Early on they have showed great enthusiasm, energy and commitment in carrying out their responsibilities. They were nurtured by WPG who came before them and who served as their mentors.

French Connections

It was a sparkling moment for Matt and Jinky last night as they discovered that there might actually be something between them but have not known until last night.  It actually looked and felt  liked a romantic commercial clip or a cheezy movie scene as they both picked the same french fries while Berna was singing “It might be you”!  As soon as they realized what just happened, everybody frooze as if waiting for fireworks to light the dim lit karaoke room.  “Awkward pero parang ang saya ko” was Matt’s comment while Jinky simply answered “Wow, parang may something a!”.

A Sad Goodbye

It was an emotional day for those who considered the 8th floor their new home.  Most of them were dismayed and sad as they packed their things and wonder whereto go next.
“Para kaming nawalan ng bahay.  Hindi makatarungan” said one of those affected by the eviction notice.  “Wala akong magagawa.  Tumutulo nalang ang aking luha habang isa isa kong tinatangal ang mga post-it ko sa pader ng cube ko.  Bakit?  Parang hindi ko pa matangap. Para akong namatayan.” said the teary eyed Joie.  No one was hurt during the eviction but the pain and suffereing might leave a mark on the hearts of those who were ordered to leave.  Lets just wait and see.

Minnie in Real Person to be Revealed!

New Cartoon Character

The real charater behind the famous Disney cartoon character will soon be revealed after years of secrecy.  “Minnie” , an auditor at a major audit firm will grace the stage this coming December to promote her upcoming movie “Minnie and Friends”.  Guess stars in the movie includes new characters like “Wills the Giant”, “Joie Boy”, “Matt the Happy and Gay”, “Jho Brave”, “Ladies Man Jaypee”, “Berna and the Guitar Man” and more. 

 

Open-eye Camera Released!

An Open-eye- camera was invented recently by Motorola Corporation.  You can take pictures of sleeping people and the camera will automatically make it look like they are awake.  Early versions like the V19-KDD which was used to take the above picture (where Lorie was actually fast asleep) was released and was initially priced at P150,000 a piece.  The newest version, the V-20-KDD comes with 50 features embedded which includes an mp3 player, viper alarm system, dental floss while you’re using the camera and multi-colored housing featuring a pink for men only casing.  It will be out next month.

 

Charged with Vandalism, WPG Ladies Clean Mens Restroom!

Under the supervision of Sgt. Bogart (seen with his back turn against the camera), ten WPG ladies were charged with vandalism.  They were caught by security guards of SM San Juan painting the side of the walls with “Wills and Anna, we love you!” .   They were booked and interogated at the San Juan Police Station. After they admitted their deeds, the Chief of Police agreed to let them go after cleaning the Police Stations’ restrooms.  “In fairness hindi mabaho ang restroom nila” said one of the ladies.  One of the ladies is reported to be dating  one of the chief of polices’ son who is rumored to be a guitar player in a bar somewhere in Cebu.

 

Pacman Grants June Celebrants’ Wishes!

Two days ago Pacman announced a change in plan in the singing of the Philippine National Anthem on his upcoming mega fight versus Miguel Cotto this coming November.  Instead of Jho’s planned solo, Shane will join her in rendering a Ryan Cayabyab rearranged duet version of the national anthem.  “Okay narin kasi parang birthday gift samin to ni Manny.  Excited na ako” said Shane who was seen carrying something heavy.  Asked where she’s going, she simply answered “Hinihintay ni Jho share niya nito” pointing at the sack of luya.

Darvy Finds New Career!

Darvy opened his bee farm last week.  It’s a 500 hectare farm containing 45,000 colonies.  It produces about 5 tons of honey every month (enough to supply a midium sized honey client).  Before we parted, we heard his girlfriend, Grace angrily told him to go inside.  That was after Darvey said “Andami kong honey dito, kahit saan ka tumingin meron”.  He added “Eto kulang nila Wills at Anning. Honey”.

Last month, Wowowee was held at the beach.  WPG were lucky they were invited to join the beach audience.  Above shows the newest beach game show, “Nasaan si Willie?” where contestants will be asked to point at Willie’s location and win a boyfriend. Berna won the grand prize, a guitar-player-Cuebuano-boyfriend.  The relationship however ended abruptly.  Her ex-guitar-player boyfriend pointed the fault to Berna’s triplet sisters.  The show was also cancelled.  No reasons were announced.

“Sumasakit ang ulo ko sa gulay” complained Matt during their visit to Baguio.  “Parang damo, anak ng!” he protested.  He consumed the whole plate and took Alaxan after.  He was fine after getting drenched with rain two hours later.  He is now under psychological treatments to conquer his fear of vegetables. “Kelangan ako matoto kumain ng gulay, marami nyan sa Batangas e” he commented to a WPG reporter who didn’t seem to relate the vegestables to the mention of the place.  He is also active in seminars related to vegan related trainings and conferences.

Berna was seen partying with an unidentified companion rumored to be her new girlfriend.  It has been a week since she broke up with her ex-guitar-player boyfriend. They were seen together partying all night.  Above picture shows her friend totally unrecognizable after covering her face while eating kalamay with her fingers. “Basta nag click kami” said the shy Berna.  “Besides, friends lang kami” added Berna.

Issa opened her first painting exhibit last week.  Seen on the photo is her closest supporter, Erleen’s twin sister.  “Ang ganda ganda, andaming flowers, eto gusto ni Wills” said one of her guest.  Her paintaings were later donated by Issa to the Philippine Center for Arts and Culture (PCAC).  She will be featured in the Kalmado Ako Magazine next year.  “Ako? Haha, hindi ko alam, basta bigla nalang ako nakaka pinta” answered Issa when asked about her inspiration.

Omar Dismayed

Omar voiced his dismay over the announcement of Pacman about his choice as to who will sing the Philippine National Anthem for his fight this coming November.  It was learned that Omar has been asking the Pacman since 2004 during Pacman’s fight with Barrera.  “Reggae pa naman sana ang version ko” said Omar.  On the lighter side, Omar was offiered by Gretchen Barreto to do an opening number on her up coming christmas concert scheduled December 24, 2023.

The real person depicted on the movie Slumdog Millionaire  revealed that a Pilipina gave her a hint on the final answer on the game show Who Wants to be a Millionaire.  Gameshow officials did not press charges since according to them, their revenue quadrupled from the millions of hits during the show itself.  The above picture shows the actual picture during the game.  No details were given if the winner gave his hero a pice of the pie.

Update on Berna and Guitar-Player-Boyfriend Split

Recently a photograph showing Berna’s guitar-player ex-boxfriend with Joie spread in the internet.  This might shed light on the recent breakup of Berna and her guitar player-exboyfriend.  “Friends lang po kami.  Actually nga po pinuntahan ko lang siya nung time na may gig siya para punasan ko ang pawis niya.  Hindi ko po alam na may camera pala” commented Joie.  Berna has not released an official statement up to now.  It has been romured that Berna is busy with her new found girlfriend.

Senate has a new issue to fry.  Recently, pictures that seem to include four people reached the senate.  “Mukhang may tinatago sila, tignan nyo o, blurred” said Enrile.  The blue ribbon committee has scheduled a hearing sometime August this year.  NBI said they are still trying to determine the personalities in the pictures to be summoned during the hearing.  They said it will take around 50 years to identify them but they will not stop until this mess is settled.

It was a shock when we learned that Joyjoy and Erleen have twins sisters but its was even better when Berna said something about being born triplets.  She brought with her her two sisters in Baguio.  They had fun with WPG and hoped to come more often on our future trips.

Last year we discovered that Joyjoy has an outgoing twin sister.  “Ang cute niya” said Matt.  They exchanged numbers and still text up to this day.

Grand Slam for Claire!

The 99th Pan

Claire took home the grand slam award during the 2008 Pizza Eating Champions held in Baguio.  She beat her record by devouring 99 pans in one hour.  Her previous record was 98.  “I was gunning for 100 kaso busog na talaga ako.  Next year kaya ko yan” she said during the awarding ceremony.  She won P200 worth of gift certificate from Guido Pizza.

Police File

Lee was recently questioned by the police for allegely knocking out Mae using her “two-finger punch” during their trip to Bohol.  Medical records showed that Mae was unconcious for an hour after the incident.  No charges were filed.  Lee is from a long line of martial arts ascendants.

The long wait is over!  Pacman finally announced who will sing the national anthem on his upcoming mega fight scheduled sometime November this year.  “I’m so excited!” said Jho who was chosen among 1,000 applicants.  Among those who applied for the said performance includes Charice Pimpenco, Arnel Pineda, Madame Auring, Hayden Kho and many other big names.

Berna broke her silence when she announced that it’s over between her and her singer boyfriend.  “He’s a major loser and a jerk!” said Berna.  They met in Cebu and were together for 3 hours.  “Parang utot lang na dumaan” said Omar, Berna’s friend.  It’s not yet clear as to what’s next with Berna.

Kaya pala laging wala si Wills sa office ay dahil may ka date na siya palagi somewhere sa Mandulong area.  Sabi ni Wills “I’ts her” at “This is it!”.  Tingin ko kumpleto na buhay ko .
